How can I get to know more about MIT

before my interview? I live in CA, and I don't think I'll have the time to actually go to Boston...a presentation perhaps?

I live in San Jose California.

Presentations are good, but on the whole I found them unhelpful; they give you the stats about a school, but that's not really what matters, is it? I would suggest going to MIT Admissions and reading the student blogs. Not only are they a great way to learn more about MIT, they'll also help you to decide if MIT is the right place for you. I find they portray MIT student life and culture pretty accurately, as a whole.
