The due date for MIT is Nov 1., so long as I send my SAT scores before that time will that be alright, or do I need to make sure the score report is received BY Nov 1st?

In other words, do I have to do a rush delivery right now, or can I just do the normal delivery speed?

Even if I mail it now, it will probably get to the colleges in 2-3 weeks, will that be ok?

Well they let you submit November SAT scores, and the November test is the 7th and scores come out a few weeks after that...so I think you should be fine.

I sent mine regular delivery last week and they were processed in 2 days. Should be fine. Third party stuff isn't as strict usually. Although you might want an adcom to confirm this.

What about if you send in a supplementary letter of rec later as in past the deadline?

***, does anyone else have their october SATs showing up as "received" in my.mit.edu, but pending in collegeboard? Kinda funny that MIT knows my scores, and I don't XD

That happens with most/all the collegeboard tests. The college gets it way before you do, though I think SATs they get just a few hours earlier. Last summer the college I'm at now got and processed my APs and sent me what I got credit for a few weeks before collegeboard sent me my scores.

@Derivate: I wouldn't, but they're more lenient with deadlines for recommendations so it would probably be okay.
