help please

Well, I was wondering if I shot myself in the foot with my SAT subject test scores. I got a 670 in Math 2 and a 660 in Biology E. Are those just too low?

If you look at the admissions statistics for last year's class (MIT Admissions: Admissions Statistics), you'll see that the 25-75 range for math subject test scores last year was 740-800, and the 25-75 for science subject test scores was 720-800.

However, as everyone else here will attest, scores are only one small part of your application to MIT, and it's certainly possible to get in with those scores.

thanks mollie for the reply.

Building on what mollie said, i was wondering... so there is still a somewhat, possibly decent shot at admission if my ACT is pretty good, recs and ecs are good, and essays are pretty good? I was more so trying to get how strongly those way in the process, like are they a killer if everything else is on or above par?
