i have an account on my.mit.edu and everything.

but the only essays ive found (and have done a response to) are the two 100 word questions (pleasure, department) and the three 200-250 word ones (creativity, background, didnt go to plan)

i cant find the optional essay anywhere. i know that the question is something like "describe something that you built, and idea, etc." (not word for word) and so on.

where can i find it?

its a wild guess but maybe you can't find it because there is no such thing?

there is additional info part which you can use for such purpose

I believe you can submit an optional personal essay, but there's no specific question for it- it's just a personal essay about yourself.

wow...my bad. i looked up "mit optional essays" on google and clicked a link to cc.com, but forgot to see the date was in 2004
