Transferring from another Cdn. University

I've applied to transfer to McGill after completing two years at another school in Canada. The McGill site says I won't find out if I am accepted (or not) until June or July, which is pretty late. So just wondering if anyone knows if it's tough--or not--to be accepted as a transfer student. Is it harder/easier in different programs? Are marks the main factor, or is it available spaces?

If anyone has any info or advice at all please let me know.

Thanks!

Which faculty did you apply to transfer to?

I think it comes down to both your grades and the spaces available. I transferred from UBC last year and heard back from McGill in early-May, so I guess I was lucky (even though I was told I'd only hear back in June or July as well).

I'm wondering the same. I'm looking to transfer into the BCom program from a similar program at U of T.
