Kings Pointer in Boston

FYI, for anyone in the Greater Boston/New England Area. The Kings Pointer will be in Port in Boston at the Coast Guard Dock (Near US Constitution) in Boston Harbor this weekend. Sunday BBQ is planned by NNEPA/Boston Alumni for anyone. If you want to attend. Send email to skibumz@comcast.net if you plan to attend. USCG needs list of those attending.

Yea, and funny thing too. The USCGA parent's assoc. is hosting our state's all academies ball this year too. Could this be a conspiracy? They're already trying to get their hands on my kid. HA! Guess I'll have to be nice to them (not on nov. 12th though).
Hey! Anyone who goes to Boston, can you snag us a few photos? I'll chip in a buck for gas. Would love to see her in another port! Boss, you play nice or I won't send up that sunny, 70 degree weather to you on the 12th like I'd promised! Hee Hee

I was tryin' to check out the website for the K/Per but it hasn't been updated since July 2003! Oh oh we better sign up JM or 8KM to get this thing up to date! Are they on a training cruise right now? How does that work?

Sorry. Can't tell you that. Its top secret.

Or could be that I truly don't know.... Hopefully our KP guy will pop back in here or 8kidsmom to describe how they use the vessel for training? Where did all our kids go? Hmmmmm...Studying to death I think. I know USMMA09 has gone out on her. Yep. That website doesn't get alot of attention from within. I know that it goes out on regular training exercises with kids aboard. It will come to Charleston some day soon I'm told so we can see it here. Didn't have a chance to go aboard during the parent's week-end due to the meetings we had to attend. I so wanted to see it too... Jamz was slated to go out for a week-end run but switched with someone who needed his spot so he'll be going out after Fall Break WHICH IS TOMORROW! Baking those cupcakes and making nachos for the housefull of kids that I can't keep away. Sigh...

Awesome day with Alumni, Midshipman and Crew on board the KP'r. 70 + degrees and clear -- great food and great company. Halloween in Boston. I think some were going to try to catch a tour or possibly head to Salem.

Next planned outing for NNEPA is at Coast Guard for Football!!!
