Dropped my Mid off at KP yesterday for Summer school. We noticed that the Kings Pointer wasn't at the dock. I was told that my Mid would be doing some training on the ship before he goes to sea in late July. Does anyone know when the ship is due back at Kings Point?

The Kings Pointer arrived in Jacksonville, FL today for her shipyard period, she will be returning in early August.

I think the afternoon training you are thinking about are the three hour trips for Indoc that the summer school deckies will be teaching aboard the T/V Liberator. This was scheduled to get them some sea days during the summer so they are not as far behind on sea days at the end of summer school.
