Miami vs. Vtech?

So I hear Miami has an excellent Biology program for those who are "pre-med" and I was just wondering if this is true and if Miami would be better than tech in this case? I'm in-state for tech so it would be so much cheaper but I love the Miami campus and I'm really hoping for some FA or scholarships. Oh another question, what type of scholarships do they usually give out?
Thanks guys!

Yeah, Miami's pre-med program has a really strong track record. I think something like 80% of students with GPAs above a 3.2 and an MCAT score of above a 24 (with no scores lower than an 8) are accepted into med school. I know I'm a little off on those numbers, since they just redid the pre-med website and I can't find anything! In the past three years, 64% of Miami applicants were accepted into med school, and the national average is 47%. Miami does have a committee process, but the committee cannot prevent students from applying.

There are quite a few merit scholarships, most notably the Harrison scholarship. In addition, there are merit scholarships for out-of-state students, but you'd have to look at the financial aid website for more information. Miami University: Office of Student Financial Assistance: Scholarships
