I'm a senior from a competitive private high school in CT. My school does not have class rank. Also, my school does not calculate GPA but mine is roughly 3.0-3.5 (out of 4.0). I've been on the cross country team for four years- captain my senior year. ACT composite is 27. I have been studying Sign Language for the past 3 years every weekend (no one in my family is deaf). I have worked with kids at my Church for the past two summers. I wrote my college essay on a particular experience with my signing skills. I applied ED. Strong legacy including my brother who is a Sophomore at the University. Can anyone help me figure out my chances?

ACT middle 50% range:
From: 25
To: 29

HS GPA of 3.75 or higher
32 %
HS GPA of 3.5 to 3.74:
26 %

You will get in Farmer as well.

I know somebody who did not get to Farmer with 3.5. He had to maintain at least 3.5 during freshman year to get in as a sophomore. He graduated from private HS and had qualifications to participate in Varsity sport (if these made his application stronger?).

Sucks to be him. He must have had awful essays or really poor SAT/ACT scores. 42% of Farmer has/had (not sure on the proper tense here) a high school GPA less than a 3.5.
