Which cell phone services work the best in Ann Arbor and on the University of Michigan campus?

I have verizon but I have friends with Nextel, Cingular everything and they all seem to work quite well...except in East Quad...LOL
Where are u living in the fall?

I use T-mobile, no problems so far... excellent reception at the UGLI and South Quad.

I suggest looking at your provider's service map to be 100% sure that you'll get service, I imagine most providers will offer decent service considering Ann Arbor is only 30 minutes from Detroit.

Nextel isn't bad. Reception is great wherever I go and I keep the same # and everything from Toledo...which is only like 42 miles away lol.

I've heard Sprint is pretty good and Verizon's bad but depends on the place.

I don't like using my phone in S. Quad. I have cingular. But in AA in general, it's fine.

I have Verizon, and in my house (off campus) I barely get any reception. Otherwise, it works well.

my brother uses tmobile. he doesnt go to umich but he lives in ann arbor
