what are you looking for in a fraternity?

there are a lot of different fraternities in Mich, about 30% of the student body are greek.

There are IFC (mostly Caucasian), NPHC (african american), MGC (multicultural) then there are the professional fraternities (business, medical, etc). The first group is called social fraternities, then the latter are the professionals. You can usually join both a social and professional.

However, NPHC and MGC are usually the same ethnicity. There are Asian fraternities (Lambda Phi Epsilon), black fraternities (Alpha Phi Alpha), etc.

It's what you feel from the fraternity during rush (or recruitment). Lambda Phi Epsilon has some really good parties though and they advertise a lot on the diag.
