I'm going to give it a shot since I heard freshman in honors have a better chance of not living on north campus and i'd rather be in a dorm with less drinking as well. Also I'd rather try to avoid the large intro courses for freshman, but thats just me.

Alright, about Honors.

Honors students have a very, very high chance of landing a spot on the South Quadrangle, which is probably one of the best dorms on campus. I would have done Honors if I were a LSA student just for living in South Quad.

As for classes, one of the core requirements for Honors students is a "Great Books" class, in which you read Greek mythical and classical novels and discuss about it. I've had mixed responses to this class, ranging from very easy to hard. But honestly, it's basically a reading class.

But yeah, I'm an engineering major who just has a bunch of Honors friends so that's all I know about it.
