A Bunch of Qs

hey, I got accepted into michigan and was invited to do the honors too!

anyway, Im trying for a core biology and computer science dual at the LSA, maybe do honors in both

first, is it feasible to do a dual? or am i expected to die with the stress...

second, where should I be staying...im not really updated much on the campus...but any advices?

third, does michigan or any other u.s.a university have the "freshmen hunt" concept? My homes in India where every university goes crazy with freshmen hunts and ragging....

Not sure about the dual major thing.

You should stay in Central or Hill. Do not pick Bursley or Baits.

Not sure what a freshmen hunt is, could you elaborate?

I am assuming that by "feshman hunt" he is talking about hazing of some sort.

Hello,

As long as the person taking a dual major has the grits and the time management skills, it's possible, even if it means going "super senior" (5 years of undergraduate studies).

As for housing, definitely apply for Central or Hill. North is very isolated, and as for Central and Hill, pray that you don't get into Oxford.

in terms of double majors,
Do you have any AP credits? My brother goes there and he says it wont be too hard to double major (in film studies and neurobiology) since he has a few AP/college credits from high school. He is taking a summer class this year (he is finishing sophomore year) because he just picked up said double major.

on dorms:
oxford only has 325 students, you shouldn't have to worry too much UM Residence Hall Overviews

Happened to be that I was sent to Oxford even with that small percentage :P Anything is possible, heh. I doubt there are 325 kids here too.
