How do I apply for undergrad at Ross?

I'm currently a high school junior and will be applying to Umich in the fall. However, the website says that Ross will only be open to sophmores. How does preferred admission work? And what school should I apply to first if I'm considering of applying to Ross in my sophmore year. Thanks.

You can apply to be a preferred admit but only 50 students were accepted for Fall 2008 so it is very competitive. I would suggest applying to LSA.

After your freshman year at the University of Michigan, you can apply to Ross assuming you have fulfilled all the requirements.

My son got preferred admit to Ross. When you apply to UMich, you can apply to LSA or engineering and check off preferred ross. If you get in, and maintain a 3.3, you are automatically in Ross as a sophomore. We went for an orientation. They accept about 150 and expect 70 students to enroll as preferred BBA for freshman year. The program starts sophomore year, and each class has about 300, so they accept about 230 additional students that are either already at UMich or transfers (very few).
