I am interested in engineering, particularly chemical or computer, and I was wondering how difficult these majors would be and also how good the job outlook with an MSU degree is in these particular fields

    1. The majors will be difficult, they're engineering.
    2. The job outlook is good, they're engineering.

MSU may not be really well known for engineering, but it's still top 50. It's going to be challenging and your job prospects will be fine.
