Annihilus

Hello, I too have been accepted to the USMA. I figured this out a good month ago, but I have one question, as I read about the four mile run, is it a straight run on average of 8 minutes a mile, or can you slow down to a powerwalk/jog for ten to fifteen seconds? Just wondering how to set up my running schedule, already set in terms of pushups and situps. Thanks.

I'm not sure which 4 mile run you are referring to, but you should be able to run 4 miles without slowing down to a power walk (Galloway program??).

Just found out about this website so I thought that I would add another new cadet to the list.

Our son was accepted to USMA in January, but was still contemplating USNA having attended their Summer Seminar. Once he came back from his overnight visit at USMA he decided that West Point was where he wanted to go, and sent his yellow card in shortly after his return! Good news, as his father and I are former Army officers (not USMA grads though), and we were pulling for USMA. Go Army, beat Navy!
