| actually this summer, there will be no OHW, which is the basis of that article.......instead they have shortened buckner to four weeks (from the previous 6-7 weeks and have taken out the 2nd detail simulated deployment. In its place, DMI allowed rising yuks to go to MDSs (airborne, aaslt etc) and has instituted a new training event before firstie year called CLDT i think. The new training will be a roughly three week cycle and will involve rotating leadership positions trying to tackle many of the same obstacles previously seen during buckner II |
