Don't give up!! While Ann is correct that you cannot re-submit scores unless asked to do so by admissions, if you are an otherwise stellar candidate, USMA will allow re-takes. My plebe actually took the CFA 3 times. First one was administered by track coach, who was NOT a certified PE instructor. Please take note: rules had changed since this coach had given a CFA for another student in our school a few years before. Since he did not realize that coach was no longer qualifed, they allowed a second try... this time BB throw was considerably short.... they sent it back and said "retake" for third time. The last time BB throw was fine, but run time was bad (though now a year later, I do not remember the exact time, but I believe it was in the 8-minute ballpark.) However, it was good enough to deem him qualified for admission.
I would not worry too much about your run time knocking you out now. Yes, it could keep you from passing, but our experience with admissions is that if they see the other qualifications they are looking for, they will work to allow you every possible chance they can.
Incidently, the amount of running during Beast decreased my Plebe's 2-mile run time by something like a minute and a half. USMA has wonderful methods of getting you up to speed once you are there
