[QUICK!!!] WiFi at SLS?

Is there WiFi at USMA SLS? I'm packing right now for the flight tomorrow morning and I have to decide whether to bring my laptop or not.

Don't know the answer but perhaps you'll see my son there. He flies out from Green Bay, WI at oh-dark-thirty tomorrow. He just came back from USNA NASS. Last week at USNA he didn't have a lot of down time. I'd be worried about where to secure the laptop. If you want my two cents I'd say leave it alone. Have fun at SLS! Where are you from?

You can't log onto their "WiFi" system unless you have one of their issued computers. Plus there will be no time for internet during SLS, you will be kept rather busy.

Hmm yeah well I thought about risking my laptop and my parents are leaning against it, but I'm still trying to take it with me. I heard that at SLS they'll give me 30 min - 1 hour of free time in the evening so maybe I could use it then. Do you know whether they have locks on the doors of the dorms?

Chockstock - Son is tired and sore. We lived in Berkley, MI (northern Detroit suburb) for 12 years before moving to Green Bay. If you're flying out of Detroit metro around 10:00 A.M. on Northwest to Newark you're on the same flight! And son is also going to USAFA after USMA! As for locks I don't know. Son had a lockable desk drawer at USNA. I'll try to send you a PM with details.

Hmm I might see him at USAFA too. Does he leave for USAFA on the 15th?
