Did you receive an appointment or the LOA? After accepting an appointment you will officially be a Cadet Candidate. You will officially be a New Cadet after you take the oath on R-Day. And then after the Acceptance ceremony you will be a Cadet Private.

You have an awful lot to be excited about. If you received the LOA, just make sure you get everything else turned in quickly.

Mom: you're right, I did jump the gun a little.
I'm really nothing until I finish the nomination process, finish the application, and complete BCT.
It was an LOA, 100%, my MALO got a copy the same day.
I can't wait for the green folder!

That is CRUCIAL to an LOA, at least I think so. It really sets you apart.
The letter even mentioned my participation in the program.

Congratulations on your LOA. Based on your blah blah profile it looks like the LOA candidate still needs strong academics (1400+ SAT), strong athletics (4 yr. varsity swimming) and leadership (team captain, eagle scout).
