Timur, summer in the northern hemisphere lasts until the end of September. :P
Orientation is a little over a week long, then you'll have about half a week to move to your permanent dorm and be lazy and socialize with all of your new dormmates until school starts -- fall term always starts the Wednesday after Labor Day.
