can freshman take D-lab classes?

can freshman take D-lab(development -lab) classes?

I don't personally know any freshman who have, but I don't see it being a problem. As long as you have room in your schedule and meet any prereqs, you can take basically anything you want (and even the prereq issue is more of a guideline than anything). Definitely talk to your adviser about it.

There aren't any prereqs for D-Lab, but there is a lottery to get in if it's overenrolled (and I'm not sure what the paramaters of the lottery are, nor how frequently they've had to go to a lottery; I'm looking at the Fall '06 class). So you can sign up to take it as a freshman, but be aware that you may not get in.
