I was wondering how MIT fees are paid through MIT PAY. I don't really understand it. For example, my new balance due is X amount dollars, but the anticipated funds (-Y) dollars, where Y>X >0, does that mean we have nothing to pay for?

Also, where does the amount Y-X go to? Am I sent a check with the extra fee?

PS: I'm wondering because I would like the extra amount Y-X to go to travel and eating fees, which are not billed on MIT PAY.
