Cooking in Baker

If you end up in a dorm like Baker what do people do for breakfast and lunch? Do they keep microwaves, hotplates, panini grills etc in their room and cook breakfast and some lunches in their room or do most eat out for these two meals? Do most people have dinner in the dining hall since we have to pay into it?

In quad dorms do people have multiple mini fridges or do some just go in together and get a decent size fridge?

Or is it just really easy to eat out for all meals that I should not even be thinking about this?

I didn't live in Baker, but it will depend on what you want to eat for breakfast -- I ate cereal and milk most mornings, so I just bought it at the grocery store and ate in my room.

Most people eat lunch at one of the cafeterias on campus or at a food truck, because it's likely that you'll be on campus around lunchtime and won't necessarily have time to go back to your room.

On the other hand, Baker's pretty close to campus. So if you end up living there after dorm rush, you could possibly do what a substantial number of EC people do and go home for lunch, as long as your classes aren't completely back to back.
