does anyone know who the better acting teacher is: brody or mancuso?

and are there any other good theater teachers?

My vote would be to check out the subject evaluations -- you'll get more statistically valid results than asking individuals for their experiences.

Oh man, Mancuso is sort of nuts. She's on the more extreme end of the stereotypical "nutty theater types." Not judging that as good or bad, whatever floats your particular boat. =)

Oulette is awesome, but I think he just retired (he is listed as the instructor for one class, so I'm not really sure...) From what I know, Scheib is very well-liked, but I've never a taken a class with him or Brody. Eastley teaches the voice class, which isn't very theater-related, but she's one of the coolest people I've met in my life.

Brown teaches some scenery classes, and she's also great.

Hmm, I sort of just gushed about most of the theater arts staff (and very generically too). I'd say most of the staff is pretty good (both from what I've heard as well as personal experience). I concentrated in theater arts, so if you have any other specific questions, feel free to poke me.

I tried getting on to the evaluations page but I keep getting this:

"Safari can’t open the page “https://web.mit.edu/acadinfo/sse/” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server “web.mit.edu”."

I have a certificate, so I don't understand what's wrong...

Do you have the certificate authority installed in Safari?

hm, so I got it to work, but every course I click on gives a blank page.

Try downloading your cert again. They were supposed to expire today (no matter when you added them).
