ase's during iap; p/nr

Does anyone know if I can take the 8.02 ase for fall credit or iap credit after orientation?
Also, in what situations would a school, employer, etc. want to see hidden freshmen grades and does this happen often?

Generally speaking, nobody cares about hidden grades, and MIT will not release them without a great deal of effort and desire on your part.

The only time I've ever heard of people having to reveal first semester grades is for applications to Johns Hopkins' MD program.

The academic guide deals with ASE results in freshman year here.

You wouldn't be able to take one in December, but you would be able to take one during IAP.

You'll have to contact the department.
