Full Monty

Just saw The Full Monty at Montclair, and WOW. I'm not kidding, this was a terrific, professional level performance in a great space with talent and a great crowd. Oh, and yes they did!

It was fantastic, wasn't it? Clay James is terrific! The characters were all extremely well drawn, dancing was great, singing excellent--proving that the Cabaret we saw last year was no fluke. This program is excellent.

Momsinger I agree...my son is a HS Jr and Clay James, and all the Montclair people, have been terrific. I emailed Clay James, and he called me with in about an hour and a half and answered all my questions, and made himself available if neded. My S would love to attend Montclair. I assume your D is happy, by the look of the students.

My daughter is SO SO SO happy!! And this is in contrast to how miserable she was last year. She adores Clay, she loves her classes, she has made a pile of friends--she is bouncing off the walls happy to be there. She feels that even if she never gets cast in anything (which is extremely unlikely) she would still be thrilled to soak up everything the program has to offer.
And you know, when they are happy, we are happy!

My D is at Montclair as well and is Happy. She tells me she's a 'Clay-mate.' The freshman class has has some performance gigs as a class. It's worked out well so far for her.
