Ed1229,
Your GPA shows an upward trend, which is pretty good. I hope the GPA you have posted for each year is UW(?)
What are your ECs?

My EC's are:

1. Mu Alpha Theta National Math Competition: Individuals 1st place
Captain of school math team

2. Knowledge Master: Captain of Biological Sciences

3. Taekwondo: 12 years
Black belt

4. Basketball: JV 2 years
JV Captain
All-Star
Varsity 2 years

5. Community Service: 200 hrs at a local hospital

Am I lacking in EC's?

And yes, those are unweighted. School doesn't rank but percentile is a concern since I blew off 9th and 10th :S

Your ECs are pretty good. However, BS/MD programs generally like to see more medically oriented ECs.

At this point, I would advice you to apply and try anyway. What have you got to loose? If you get in, great! If not, you can always go to med schools the traditional way. There's no harm trying. Do apply to some 'safety schools' for BA/or BS programs in addition though.

Hey jenc89 I was just hoping if I could get advice from you since you said you're attending the UConn CPiM program and were accepted to the Union/Albany one as well...the same thing has just happened to me. How do you like UConn and would you recommend the program? I'm from NJ too and so is it worth the out of state tuition to go? Cuz I got a full ride to Rutgers too and could apply to med school afterwards to avoid a greater debt. Any advice would be really appreciated
