Congratulations! Does Pitts program require that you take the MCAT?

Pitt program is not binding unlike some med schools. When we asked this question to the interviewer/program director, she said Pitt is committed to the admitted students with med school guarantee, however the student does not have to be committed to Pitt, which is another good thing about Pitt. Also, she said she has not seen anyone leaving Pitt from the guaranteed admit program. We talked to another med student, who took us for med school visit. She said that no one would like to leave PITT medical school.
Pitt does not require students to take MCAT. If they wish, they can take MCAT and go to a different school.
The only requirement is 3.75 undergrad GPA to be in this guranteed program.

not quite sure but, the program director of Pitt said that she did not see any GA students failing to go to med school bec of this requirement. Does not look like very hard, and definitely doable as per the program director..

I know that with PLME you must graduate in 8 years. At Pitt you can graduate from the undergrad in three, four, or five years. Dr. Rao said that whatever the student's choice, she didn't want the student to get burnt out by taking a lot of credit hours or feeling stressed out. Also, if you have AP credits, Pitt will accept them but I'm not sure if you'd want to in order to maintain the GPA.

It's an 8 year program. About 15 incoming freshmen are in the program every year.
Requirements to apply: 1450 M+CR SAT or ACT equivalent, and a certain gpa (don't remember) with rigorous hs couseload
Requirements to stay in program: 3.75 gpa
