Liberal Arts and Conservatory Conjunction Program at Northwestern University

Hey y'all.

So, I visited Northwestern this past weekend, and quite liked it. It seemed to really fulfill my needs/wants in a college, with its geographic diversity, approachable and motivated student body, and its close proximity to a large and artistically-inclined city. Moreover, though, I loved the conservatory/liberal arts conjuction, since I would like to pursue singing while also receiving a strong liberal arts education.

On that note, I was wondering whether any of you had any experience with the 5 year conservatory/liberal arts program that you could share with me. Or, if any of you could comment on the ease of participating in the music opportunities sponsored by the conservatory-- without actually being in the 5 year program itself.

Thanks so much. I really appreciate it!
