Cartera, the estimate for the Columbus area is over 20", but it's the wind that is the complicating factor. I've been checking information on road conditions on the OH DOT website (neat little tool they have there called Buckeyetraffic.org which shows the updated road reports from DOT garages throughout OH). I'll check again early tomorrow morning, and if the road conditions have improved from today, I'll probably head out.
Otterbein did cancel tonight's opera and dance concert; both have rescheduled extra performances on Sunday. My daughter said because of the almost back-to-back nature of the performances, Dr. Eckenroth said she will provide dinner (probably pizza). I went out tonight and bought a bunch of pop and munchies to go with pizza and will pick up several pies from our town's homemade pie factory tomorrow if I make the trek. I figure it's probably easier for me to get to stores at this point than it is for anyone in Ohio!
Linnlew, no you're not dating yourself...said from the perspective of someone who remembers the Blizzard of '78 very clearly

I was returning to my Michigan college from Chicago by Amtrak; the train ended up unable to move on the tracks, so Amtrak bussed us to the nearest train station...where I sat for two days. I do hope your daughter's play goes on tomorrow, and they're able to schedule additional performances.
JADIOH, the 60s spin has a lot of the kids excited. My daughter is thrilled that she is expected to color her hair (I think she settled on purple and pink), although I am thrilled that she's using temporary coloring! Normally, she keeps her hairstyle quite "normal" because of the operas, so she's pleased that she can let loose a bit for this show.
