Info about Furman voice program?

My daughter has been accepted to Frost at U Miami and Furman for vocal performance and she's waiting to hear from Blair- Vanderbilt. Can anybody compare these? I've read some about Vanderbilt and U Miami on this forum but not about Furman. Does anyone have any knowledge of the voice program at Furman?

Sorry - I don't know enough about the three programs to compare them; I've heard good things about all. My gut says that the other two (Frost and Vandy) might be more highly regarded - they are just bigger schools. My D wanted to go to Furman (didn't get enough money) and we were thrilled with the music department. Although she is an instrumentalist, it did seem that voice was the "big thing" there.

Here is a list of voice alumni I found on their website:

Bishop, Elizabeth, '89
Merola Opera Program; has appeared at the Metropolitan Opera and San Francisco Opera (she was featured in the national telecast of Dangerous Liaisons).

Chandler, Nat, '80
Played Raoul on national tour of Phantom of the Opera and is currently performing on and off Broadway..

Castleberry, David, '78
Director of Choral Activities, Marshall University.

Floyd, Hugh, '84
Director of Choral Activities, Oberlin College.

Holley, David, '81
Has sung with regional opera companies, including Brevard Music Center. Director of Opera, UNC-Greensboro.

Horton, Amanda, '99
Soprano: 2007 Young Artist Program for Opera Santa Barbara

Jameson, Keith Richards, '90
Tenor: Metropolitan Opera

Parks, Karen, '83
Soprano, international opera singer, Fulbright Scholarship in Voice.

Stevenson, Tony, '87
Tenor: Winner, Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Young Artist Program, Metropolitan Opera. Now sings regularly at the Met.

Washington, Daniel, '76
Baritone, Assistant Dean for Minority Services, University of Michigan; Lucerne Opera, Berlin Opera, Covent Garden, University of Michigan.
