Careers in music?

So I've seriously considered majoring in music in college.

My only problem is, what do I do with a BA in music/voice&opera/etc?

I've researched careers, but everything I've searched has been dry and uninformative. The Music Education scene is a good career path, but it just doesn't settle with me. If I were to teach at ALL, it would be one on one, as a vocal coach, perhaps.

O_o Gah! Does anyone know any other good careers in music?

If you haven't seen it, here's a link to a Rice site: Navigating Music Careers

The thread here How many music and voice performance majors find jobs? has a few personal stories.

Also, a BA or a BM in music can position you for most any grad school path, even in an unrelated discipline.
