Hi,
Is there anyone here who is in this program or knows about it. Or maybe you have a S or D in it or has considered it. Is it all it is hyped to be or can you get the same effect some where else with the right mix of technical, music and business courses elsewhere. My son is accepted into it but it just seems that the required courses are great in number so there would really not be any liberal learning but more of a technical route with some business courses and some technical courses. Any input would be great.

I don't know that much about the program itself, but what you're saying fits in pretty well with Drexel's reputation here in the Delaware Valley. While they acquired a medical school a few years back, Drexel is, at it's heart and soul, a technical and business school. They were pioneers in both internships and requirements that students have their own computers.

They never had any local reputation at all for either graphic or performing arts so, if you S goes there, expect a program much more heavily geared to the technical and business end of the subject.
