| Merit aid from IU and CMU
very anxiously awaiting word from these 2 schools....I was told by IU that they would send email and snail mail by April 1. Has anyone received Merit $$ from CMU yet??? If so, how were you notified??

We are still waiting to hear from IU on merit as well. Glad to hear they will email as well as snail. Their mailroom is really slow. Our son's admittance letter was mailed 4 days after the date of the letter.

Got this e-mail from IU (regarding vocal performance): Quote:
If all goes well today you should hear about music merit scholarship by 10 pm tonight [April 1].
Our associate directors are working as fast as they can sending out notices via email.
You will also receive a hard copy via snailmail.

We are also waiting for the "promised" e-mail about Merit awards from IU. They said an e-mail would go out today. It's not here yet.

isn't it frustrating? How hard is it for them to send out an e-mail? Two years ago when my percussionist son was accepted at IU, he received 10K/annual merit award, and was notified on March 22nd. (He went to Oberlin instead). I wonder why it takes until April now to put out the same information...
