Happy Mother's Day!

I just wanted to wish all of you a very happy and wonderful Mother's Day!! I know this year was filled with fears and tears trying go through the college selection process. I also remember feeling every emotion of the process...laying awake and wondering the "what if's". That is what we do. One of the proudest, sadest days was loading her up and taking her to college. Now, the year is over and we moved our d home yesterday. I know this may sound strange, but it was so good that she wanted to come home, but she did not want to leave!! She had a wonderful year and loves where she is. Her and her room mate have become great friends and are rooming together again next year. My younger d is finishing her 10th grade year with so many accomplishments and honors. So very proud of both, as I know you are of yours!
It is a beautiful day here, I have both my girls home, and my husband is actually not traveling!!!! What more could a mother ask for?

Wishing you a wonderful day...you all deserve it!

Thank you notfromme! I too have a daughter finshing 10th grade with all the honors and now seems to be in show after show. I dread losing her to college in 2 years, but I have to keep reminding myself that we "only have them on loan". Glad to hear that your eldest had a terrific first year experience- where does she go to school?
Happy Mother's Day to All!
