class of '09: do you have a "big list"?

wanted to see if other juniors had a "big list" to schools they're really considering (and pruning down), and what it was!

for me...
Ithaca College
University of the Arts
University of Michigan
Pace
BoCo
BU
Point Park
Hartt
Montclair
CMU
Muhlenberg
UC Irvine
UCLA
Emerson
University of Northern Colorado
Northwestern
Marymount Manhattan College
NYU
OCU

yeah, i definitely have to cut some of those off!

I'm so happy to see a bit of discussion among juniors! And I'm glad to see I'm not the only junior already probably thinking about this too much.

My tentative big list (it changes just about every week - usually growing):

Baldwin-Wallace C
Ball SU
Coastal Carolina U
DeSales U
Elon U
Emerson C
Florida SU
Illinois Wesleyan U
Ithaca C
James Madison U
Johnson State C
Millikin U
Muhlenberg C
New York U
Oklahoma City U
Otterbein C
Pace U
Penn State U Park
Point Park U
Rider U
SUNY Fredonia
Syracuse U
U Colorado Boulder
U Hartford (Hartt)
U Miami
U Michigan
U Northern Colorado
Wagner C

copied and pasted from my list on CollegeBoard. So yeah...I think there's a good chance I won't be auditioning for all of them...

Well, my D has had three lists and hopefully list #3 is the final "Big List". She is torn between bio and theater/VP so the new and improved list has many schools with "design your own major or interdisciplinary majors" and that appeals to her. Although I am not sure just how she will blend bio/life sciences and MT/VP.....I have been told it is possible (I will just "believe", like Cinderella...). Anyhow, the *current* list is..........

American U
Mt. Holyoke
Conn College
Sweet Briar
CMU (not the BFA program)
Ithaca
Cornell (maybe)
Bard
Vassar

We are heading out to start visits in 2 weeks.....so I may be updating after that. I just hope she doesn't scratch it and start all over........!!!!!!!
