| Things do have a way of working out. My son is going to attend SUNY Purchase (BFA Acting) in the fall.
I am going to miss being glued to these boards night after night. The support and care found here have made this our first time experience much more bearable. | |

| ProudDadFL....it is very cool how things worked out for your son. Often, good things come to those who wait. Your son had quite a turnaround! Sounds like a very exciting year ahead for him.
I hope you (and others) will not leave now that your kids are admitted to college because one thing that makes the forum great and beneficial to those who are going through the process is the participation of parents and students attending the colleges. So, if you guys can all pay it forward, the new prospies will appreciate it (not to mention how fun it is for all who shared this journey here to hear about how it all turns out next year). | |

| Thanks Soozievt. Interestingly enough, some faculty at Purchase have taught at or still do double duty at Circle in the Square.
I think my son is beginning to realize the significance of a college degree and why it's more than just a bridge into the working world. As proud parents, we are happy this is the path he is taking.
