Youtube MT series

One of my daughter's friends just told me about a series that is available on youtube, about the life of an aspiring MT actor living in Manhattan. It's called The Battery's Down. I watched one episode just now and really enjoyed it.
Look for it on youtube if it is sounds interesting to you.

Oh...that is one of my daughter's and my favorite series!! The talent of the performers and writers is amazing (and yet, it terrifies me, too -- to think of all those super-talented folks out of work, and my kid wanting to start auditioning for MT programs....)

It is a great show! Jake Wilson has done an amazing job with it.

Unfortunatly there will be only 2 more episodes before the series ends on December 1st. I have a feeling that it was getting to be too financially straining for him to do it...but I am not sure about that.

Anyway, I hope that this brings great things for him in the future. I have throughly enjoyed watching this show for the past year and a half.

anothermom thank you so much for posting this. I have seen all 14 episodes in a couple days since reading this post. Totally love it as does my daughter. Glad I didn't have to wait 18 mos as they posted and now can't wait till 10/15 and the next one. Although I have to say Episode 12 was really sad

I haven't gotten that far yet, but am watching it steadily. So sad to hear it will not be continued after this season.
What incredible talent is on display, and a great reality check for kids who think "oh, I want to be a star on Broadway".
