So I have a couple questions even if they may sound stupid. How many songs should I include on my repertiore list? And along with colleges, it would be smart to bring it to outside auditions, right? Thanks!
You should have a repertoire book that you bring to all auditions. Don't worry too much about how many songs you have; it's more important that you only include songs that you can perform comfortably, that show off your voice best, and that are appropriate to your age and general type. This last point is especially important for college auditions -- they want you to have material that you could REALISTICALLY portray.
