Finalist application mistake?

In a rush to finish the application and work on huge pile of homework, I submitted the application with listing the "Exact name of employing company or organization". I did say they were self-employed and that they have their own practices as physicians. The name of their office is just something plain like "X Medical Practice". Will this missing info cost me my finalist standing?

I doubt this will affect anything. Where your parents work has NO BEARING on your making NMF.

Thanks mom2collegekids. Also I meant to say I did NOT put ANY name for the organizations, meaning that section is blank.

Are you saying that you didn't put a name for their medical practice?

Again, I don't think that matters. That is probably only used for those whose parents work for a NMCorp sponsor corp. It's not used to determine NMF status.

Over 90% of semifinalists are selected as finalists. They use the application to weed out the convicted felons, cheaters (reported by schools), and those who are otherwise ineligible.

Perhaps I am too blase about the process, but I would not worry at all about minor omissions such as this.

I really don't think they use the parents info for ANYTHING related to the NMF process except to see if they are employed by a corporate sponsor.

For their OWN purposes, they may use parent info to get some idea of the socio-economic backgrounds of NMFs, but that would have no bearing on any student's progression from NMSF to NMF.
