Qs about National Merit scholarship?

Hi. I took the PSAT this month and I kinda hope to be one of the finalists. But the problem is that I am not a U.S. citizen (I go to a high school in US though). I heard I have to send a letter to them explaining my status and try to get a green card. (If I become a semi-finalist) Would they inform me that I am a semi-finalist even if I didn't have a green card or do whatever I have to in order to receive scholarship?

Your best bet to answer this question is to call the NMSC and ask, thnkprnctn.

Go to the NMCorp site and look at FAQ...there is a question about those getting resident/citizen status.
