How much does ASU reimburse one for traveling to visit the campus?

They told me they would pay $250 towards D's plane ticket, but it may be the amount depends on where you live, not sure. Just e-mail them like the letter says and ask. They'll reply within a day. Maybe they give more money to people they really want? I think there was a time when they paid most of the visit cost.

My twin S and D (both NMSF) each received this letter as well. Is there a catch?

I don't want to respond if this is a phishing scam trying to find our email address. On the other hand, an all-expense paid trip to AZ sounds pretty good with snow starting to fall already.

Hi, I'm a national merit semifinalist but I accidentally threw the letter away without opening it because I thought it was just another college advertisement. Could somebody post the email address/contact information that the letter said to contact if you want to get the free trip to Arizona? Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

This is where you fill out request form for the weekend:
National Scholar Student Experience Day Barrett, The Honors College

Apparently you can stay overnight with another student while there.

Contact them by 12/1, it says. But they are flexible about dates of trip. I mentioned possibility of coming during music audition time in Feb. and they said that's fine. Also spring break time OK. They used to pay much more of costs when they were first getting program up and running. Now that they are such a popular NMF destination, they have scaled back some. Parents told me a few years ago that ASU paid all expenses for their trip. Anyway, that was what they claimed, can't be sure it's true.
