A very good friend from my old high school will also be attending USNA. Obviously, we will go through plebe summer together.

What is the best way to communicate with him during the summer? Inter-company letters? Smoke signals? Tapping Morse Code through the walls?

Any ideas on a good spot to meet after induction? Is this feasible?

You'll have more important things to worry about. If you have the time on Sundays, you might be able to visit, but that's it.

immediately after the Oath of Office on induction day, family/friends can meet up on Stribling Walk (under the first letter of the plebe's last name) for a brief goodbye- at least that is what we have been told!

If you are religious (or may find religion during Plebe Summer), maybe you could attend church/temple together. Ironically, my mid is in the same class with a kid (a twin) she went to third grade with in Southern California (years ago his family moved to Tennessee). How's that for coincidence?
