vision requirements

I've got
20/30 left eye and
20/50 right eye.
Correctable to better than 20/20 with glasses and contacts. Doc said I was a prime case for PRK (which is extremely off-limits pre-Academy). So If I make it far enough down the admissions trail will I need a waiver and how tough would it be to get one in my case,

thanks,

-Z

thank y'all very much. what's the policy on contacts? I'm not allowed to wear mine during chemistry lab, but I've heard nothing about the military aspect of them. During plebe summer you only get BCG's and maybe youre civvy glasses for the Oriole's game and a few other instances. Where do contacts fit in?

Can't speak as a mid but at CVW, my host said ur allowed to wear contacts during the year. As for sports that have helmets, I guess that would be fine too seeing glasses might get in the way (feel free to add or correct everyone).
