Athletic Bags for I-Day

I am a midshipmen who plans to try out for a sport. I was told to bring a separate bag with all of my gear. (Cleats, shin guards, shorts, shirts, socks).

My question is, what kind of shorts and shirts am I supposed to bring? Can they be regular sports jerseys and shorts? If anyone could provide any information I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm planning on dropping my athletic gear (sailing gloves, topsiders, and khaki shorts) off at my sport's headquarters (Robert Crown Sailing Center) on Tuesday.

So for your shirts I take it you'll be using the ones they issue us?

Oh well sailing team is going to issue me a shirt.

I would bring a shirt other than your normal blue rim for your sport practice I think.

I assume you will be playing soccer-
so would just plan on packing a few tee shirts for practice and put them in your athletic bag for now.
Have you been recruited or contacted by the coach?
The only reason I ask is that some of the coaches hold a reception the day prior to I-Day for recruited athletes, and your athletic bags are collected at that time and placed into the locker room area for access at a later time.
You can try and email the assistant coach if you have any concerns about to bring and if there will be a place to store it, rather than carting it around with you on I-Day.

Best of luck!
