USNA doesn't have an early decision option like some civilian universities do. The closest thing to that sort of thing in the Naval Academy admissions system is a Letter of Assurance (guaranteeing an appointment if certain conditions are met). These are sent out as early as September, but are only extended to the highest-qualified candidates and/or recruited athletes from the general applicant pool. If memory serves, only 10% of each incoming class has a LoA.

solution

I think I got it

1. Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus Honor 1/2 B/B
2. Mandarin 5/6 A/A
3. Computer Programing
4. English Language AP 5/6 A/B
5. U.S. History AP 1/2 B/B
6. Physics A 1/2 A/B

Senior Year

1. AP calculus
2. AP physics
3. AP computer programing
4. fine art
5. Government/economics
6. English

I think this will raise my chances since I will be more Electrical & Computer Programing Engineering qualify. And my Senior year will be a lot easier than what I was thinking before.

Caution on both reality and perception on your thought here. It's long been understood that USNA prefers those who appear to be and in fact are running hard thru the finish line. Whatever your meaning, you may want to adjust thinking, course work, and/or how you communicate that. Just a suggestion ... USNA admissions process gives zero credit for "easier" to my knowledge, nor the mindset/scheduling quirks that might allow for cruise-control come senior season.

^^^ I agree. You could take a fine arts class at your local community college over the summer and free up your schedule for another AP class.

Summer Class Solution?

I did not take Chemistry honor in my Sophomore year; I took chemistry the summer before my sophomore year. I have a weak foundation in Chemistry which prevents me from doing well in the AP Chemistry Class at my school. But would it be a good idea if I were to take Chemistry at a community college over the summer instead of fine arts to make myself slightly more competitive?

Sport

Even though I left the Tennis Team, I think I am going to join Track & Field this year and my Senior Year. Track won't appear on my transcript since the Track Class is a 6th period and both my Junior and Senior year 6th period is full. Would it still work?

Freshman Year: Tennis Junior Varsity
Sophomore Year: Tennis Junior Varsity
Junior Year: Track
Senior year: Track

I don't think I would get into Varsity Track in my Junior Year, but I think It might happen since I got a lot taller since my first post. 6 Feet and 1.5 inches now.

Cross Country

I am also going to join Cross Country to help get me physically fit for the mile run in the naval academy application.

Chem is allegedly one of the killer courses @ USNA. You may want to beef up some in any case. You'll figure out the best approach in your scenario.

And because of this, Admissions scrutinizes HS Chemistry closely. Highly recommend AP Chemistry. David, what is the difference between HS AP Chem and taking it at the local college?

Community College

The difference between AP chemistry at my high school and chemistry at a community college is the grade I would most likely earn. The AP chemistry teacher at my school is notorious for failing students, whereas the chemistry professor at the community college is adequate enough to teach the subject thoroughly. What I would learn in both scenario is relatively the same, but the grade I will earn would deviate from each other greatly. But would taking chemistry at a junior college the summer before my Senior year be too late?

I'm wondering if this thread is a goose chase? How does one get to this point of investigaton and be asking about "Early Decision" @ USNA?
