Naval Academy Midshipmen to carry National Flag
for opening of World Series game two Quote:
annapolis, md. - the u.s. Naval academy color guard will present the national flag during opening ceremonies for game 2 of the world series between the new york yankees and the philadelphia phillies thursday, oct. 29 at yankee stadium in new york. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:55 p.m.
The color guard members who will participate include: Carrying the american flag, midshipman 1st class (senior) dan sauer of kirkland, wash.; carrying the brigade of midshipmen flag, midshipman 1st class luke leveque of kodiak, alaska; carrying the flag of the united states marine corps, midshipman 1st class jason mazzoni of salisbury, n.c.; carrying the flag of the united states navy, midshipman 2nd class (junior) bryen roder of little falls, n.j; and riflemen midshipmen 2nd class zishan hameed of norfolk, va., and 2nd class hannah allaire of san antonio, texas.
