Hello from Pakistan!
A few pages back, I read boardingschool's post that I was given preference in the Lafayette admission process as I am a Canadian citizen. Well, I contacted the admissions office about that and they said that they treat Canadians just like they would treat any other international students.
Just wanted to clear that up...

Okie, I'll correct myself. Lafay does give generous aid to some intl. For those whom they turn down (like me), they wrote "Sorry, you're qualified, but we can't give you enough aid, so we reject you". It's actually deceiving. Lafay is just not interested enough to give us aid.

@boardingschool:

It's not that Lafayette's not interested, imho. Lafayette does take a decent number of international students. I hear, there are two acceptances from Nepal and there is a decent number of international students at Lafayette.

@sixstringsrocker: you don't get my point. I mean the admission office talks about financial aid just as an excuse, so that we feel better. In reality, those who are not accepted are just not good enough for Lafay to give aid too. Lafay does give generous aid to some intl.

Trinitian: Thanks man, just got the book. Turns out it's the National Book Centre, though.
