@12hulk345- The session was great. She mentioned about alumni network at upenn...that was the main thing I engrossed into. As hangover2012 said it is better to take the brochure from USEF.

@hangover2012- ya man, upenn only for RD.

@elizabeth314- best of luck for Tulane.

Swarthmore, Lafayette and Trinity are some good LACs that also offer engineering. If you are not planning to major in engineering then there are a lot of LAC choices.

@12hulk345- Nope dude, not retaking IOE entrance papers.

fyi, Swarthmore and Trinity only have a general "Engineering" major while Lafayette has 5 majors under engineering: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical engineering and a bachelor of arts in Engineering studies.

Other LACs that have strong engineering programs: Harvey Mudd, Union

similar schools (though not LACs) that have engineering: villanova, bucknell

huh?
I thought trinity had four engineering majors
computer, electrical, mechanical and biomedical
as it suggests here:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Please clarify sixstringrocker

You guys know of other early action schools that offer financial aid?

I'm thinking of applying EA instead of ED.

Trinity engineering offers concentrations, not necessarily separate majors.

@sixstringrocker : Thanks, I googled and found out what the difference is .

@ sombre: you might wanna try an LAC for your EA . As I said dickinson and wabash have Early action programs and offer a lot of financial aid.

When are you guys taking SAT II for EA ?? I'm taking my SAT on oct 6, TOEFL on oct 28..but I think I won't have time to give SAT II for EA. The deadlines of many colleges are Nov 15 so I'm somewhat kinda confused!!

@scourge: I am in the same condition. I suggest you to take the November date(Nov 3)
for SAT II. Most of the colleges have the deadline of Nov 15 but I am pretty sure they will consider your scores, which will probably be released by Nov 20. I will be doing the same!
best wishes!!

PS: don't be late, the registration deadline is next thursday ( Oct 4th)

Aid does not usually depend upon major. Any school that offers decent FA and has a business program are good.
